The
Sidereal Time is measured by the rotation of the Earth with respect to
the stars (rather than relative to the Sun). Local Sidereal Time is the
right ascension of a point on the observer's meridian and is dependent
on the observer's location.
EQASCOM shows the Local Sidereal Time and users should not be concerned that the value displayed does not match the PC time. |
